It is often said that when Africa gets into your blood, you will never leave. I was instantly hooked from my first safari, aged seven, and the magic of the people and wildlife fascinates me still. Since then, the desire to travel has remained the one constant in my life, allowing me to experience a remarkable variety of cultures and sights across seven continents.

 My passion for photography grew as I attempted to record and share some of these beautiful places and creatures, until the hobby eventually matured into a full time career.  The challenge to constantly improve and innovate beyond producing mere replicative images is the ethos behind my work.  By capturing the expressions of the subjects together with the atmosphere of their surroundings, my goal is to evoke in the viewer a range of emotions that supercede the aesthetic quality of the image.
